Sunset Community Association President’s Message

On behalf of the Sunset Community Association Board of Directors, I’m pleased to share an exciting update on our community’s progress and what’s ahead this winter and spring season.

We are thrilled to share that construction has officially started on our long-awaited Senior Centre! This new facility will be a dedicated space for our seniors to connect, engage in activities, and access valuable resources. Once completed, the Senior Centre will play a vital role in supporting our senior community, providing a welcoming environment for programs, social gatherings, and a range of enriching opportunities. We’re excited for the positive impact this space will have for years to come.

For the winter and spring season, we’re pleased to offer a wide range of programs and workshops designed for all ages and interests. From fitness and wellness classes to creative arts, sports, and skill-building sessions, there’s something for everyone in our community. We’re excited to welcome you to a season full of engaging and enriching experiences at Sunset Community Centre! Moreover, we have some exciting events lined up, such as our Sunset Family Fun on Family and our annual Easter Eggstravaganza, to bring the community together.

In addition to our seasonal events and programs, our licensed childcare programs are at full capacity, demonstrating the high demand for quality childcare in our community. We are committed to supporting working families by providing dependable and enriching care for children. As we continue to grow, we’re actively exploring ways to expand our childcare offerings to better meet the needs of our community.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

We look forward to seeing you at the centre participating in our activities
