We invite you to be a part of the Sunset Community Centre Camps staff! Our staff are enthusiastic and patient leaders who genuinely want each camper to have the best experience possible, day-in and day-out. We typically seek educators and university students to fill these positions.
You must be eligible to participate in the Canada Summer Jobs initiative, individuals must:
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
♦ Leader – Summer Escape Day Camp (5 positions)
Sunset Community Centre is seeking dynamic and organized day camp staff to facilitate Summer Escape Day Camp (ages 6‐12). Summer Escape Day Camp runs from July 6 to August 28, Monday to Friday, 9 am-4 pm at Sunset Community Centre. This camp includes sports, games, arts & crafts, theatre, dance parties, special guests, and two weekly field trips.
