We invite you to be a part of the Sunset Community Centre Camps staff! Our staff are enthusiastic and patient leaders who genuinely want each camper to have the best experience possible, day-in and day-out. We typically seek educators and university students to fill these positions.
You must be eligible to participate in the Canada Summer Jobs initiative, individuals must:
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
♦ Summer Day Camp Project Manager
Sunset Community Centre is seeking a dynamic and organized Summer Day Camp Project Manager to oversee and implement three diverse summer day camps: Summer Escape Day Camp (ages 6‐12), Creative REMIX Summer Day Camp (ages 6‐10), and Youth Day Camp (ages 12-16). This is a direct leadership role with supervisory responsibilities

♦ Camp Supervisor – Summer Escape Day Camp
Sunset Community Centre is seeking a dynamic and organized Camp Supervisor to implement and lead Summer Escape Day Camp (ages 6‐12). Summer Day Camp Supervisor reports to the Summer Day Camp Project Manager. This program will take place at Sunset Community Centre.
Summer Escape Camp runs from July 4 to September 1, Monday to Friday (excluding statutory holidays), 9 am-4pm, which includes Before Camp (8-9 am), After Camp (4-5 pm).

♦ Camp Supervisor – Summer Youth Day Camp
Sunset Community Centre is seeking a dynamic and organized Camp Supervisor to implement and lead our Summer Youth Day Camp (ages 12-16)! Every week offers exciting and engaging activities revolving around youth values: leadership development, independence, friendship, and diversity. This is a direct leadership role with supervisory responsibilities. Summer Youth Day Camp Supervisor reports to the Summer Day Camp Project Manager. This program will take place at Sunset Community Centre.
Summer Youth Day Camp runs from July 4-September 1, Monday to Friday, 9:30 am-4:00 pm.

♦ Camp Supervisor – Creative REMIX Summer Art Camp
Sunset Community Centre is seeking a dynamic and organized Creative REMIX Art Camp Supervisor to implement and lead a children’s (ages 6-10) art focused camp at Moberly Arts and Cultural Centre! Every week offers exciting art & cultural activities, community engagement from local artists, and out trips. The Creative REMIX Art Camp Supervisor reports to the Summer Day Camp Project Manager and Arts & Cultural Programmer, and supervises the Creative REMIX Art summer camp leaders and volunteers within the art camp. This is a direct leadership role with supervisory responsibilities. This program will take place at Moberly Arts and Cultural Centre.
Camp runs from July 4-August 11, Monday to Friday, 9:30am-4:00pm.

♦ Camp Leader (4 full time positions; 4 on-call positions) and Assistant (2 positions) – Summer Escape Day Camp
Sunset Community Centre is seeking dynamic and organized day camp staff to implement and lead Summer Escape Day Camp (ages 6‐12). Summer Escape Day Camp Leaders and Assistants report to the Summer Escape Supervisor and Summer Day Camp Project Manager. This camp will take place at Sunset Community Centre. Every week offers exciting and engaging activities that provide opportunities to build friendships, sportsmanship, and self‐esteem in a recreational environment.
Camp runs from July 4 to September 1, Monday to Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm. Before Camp (8:00-9:00am) and After Camp (4:00-5:00pm) are offered to participants who need care beyond day camp hours.

Are you an energetic, enthusiastic and responsible individual with a passion for the arts and working with children? Apply to plan, lead and run the Moberly Arts & Cultural Centre’s Creative REMIX Summer Art Camp for children ages 6 to 10 years. This program will take place at Moberly Arts and Culture Centre.
