We invite you to be a part of the Sunset Community Centre Camps staff! Our staff are enthusiastic and patient leaders who genuinely want each camper to have the best experience possible, day-in and day-out. We typically seek educators and university students to fill these positions.

You must be eligible to participate in the Canada Summer Jobs initiative, individuals must:

  • Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period
  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment
  • Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations

♦ Leaders – Youth Camp (2 positions)

Sunset Community Centre is seeking a dynamic and organized Youth Camp Supervisor to implement and lead our Youth Camp (ages 13-16)! This camp includes indoor and outdoor activities focused on community engagement, leadership development, and team building. This is a supervisory role with program facilitation responsibilities. Youth Camp Supervisor reports to the Summer Camp Manager. Camp runs from July 2-August 29, Monday to Friday, 9:30 am-4:00 pm.

♦ Assistant – Summer Escape Day Camp (2 positions)

Sunset Community Centre is seeking two dynamic individuals to assist Summer Escape Day Camp (ages 6‐12). Summer Escape Day Camp runs from July 2 to August 29, Monday to Friday, 9 am-4 pm at Sunset Community Centre. This camp includes sports, games, arts & crafts, theatre, dance parties, special guests, and two weekly field trips.
