The Winter Program guide comes out at a time when we look to closing out 2015 and ahead to a new start 2016.

2015 has seen many changes at the centre including several new staff members and several new volunteer committee members. Many new programs have been added such as the successful older adult art program run out of the Moberly Arts and Cultural Centre (MACC). And as always ‘staple’ community events such as Canada Day also stand out as a highlight.

One of the highlights of the year was a recent celebration of 25 years of service for Paramjeet Munday the Manager of Sunset’s Preschool and Out of School Care. It was an event that brought together many members in our community including current and former students. The Board are always proud of the work that Paramjeet and her team do to aid in the growth and development of the children in our community.

Another exciting event to bring community members together will be April 21, 2016 to celebrate the rich history of the Sunset Community Association. This date marks 70 years ago to the day of the first AGM of the SCA. Plans are in the works to bring the community together to mark this tremendous occasion. If you would like to be a part of the planning please contact the Sunset Community Association Board.

Please look through the pages in this brochure to find something that suits your interests. It could be a new fitness class, a meeting room booking, private music lesson or event at Moberly. If you don’t find what you are looking for, please let us know so we can look to add it in the Spring.

Respectfully,

Greg Hubbard
President, Sunset Community Association
