Dezza Dance: Leg Up!

Want to catch a glimpse of some of the best emerging talent in the city? Dezza Dance and Moberly Arts & Cultural Centre partner to bring you the fifth annual Leg Up!

We are thrilled to give our young choreographers in Vancouver a springboard from which to leap into the professional realm. We warmly welcome you to an evening of thoughtfully crafted and passionately performed contemporary dance works produced by Desirée Dunbar. Rachel Helten and Cleo Halls (Paper Hearts Productions) promise to wow with live music and high energy ensemble works.

Growing Healthy

Thursdays January 9-30, 10:00am-2:00pm

Come on by Moberly Fieldhouse on Thursdays in January, 10am – 2pm for some casual conversation, fun animation and tasty refreshments. Growing Healthy is a series of short films exploring the medicinal and cultural use of herbs, fruits and vegetables by communities in South Vancouver. Each Segment focuses on a single plant or medicine and combines animated images created by EPFC North artists and community members at Moberly Fieldhouse workshops with informational interviews and images gathered from local elders, healers, gardeners and healthcare providers.
