Ethiopian Cooking

This unique cooking class will give students chance to learn all about the recipes and techniques of authentic Ethiopian cooking style. Mekdes Gete, facilitator of the Hibret Amharic school for Ethiopian culture, will provide students with hands on learning experience and also introduce them to the spices and grains used to make traditional Ethiopian dishes such as Meser wat, Gomen wat and Atkilt wat.

Medicinal Garden Stewardship with Lori Snyder

Come to the moberly Arts and Cultural Centre to join Indigenous herbalist Lori Snyder in planting, growing and harvesting medicinal herbs in the Moberly Herb Garden. Lori Snyder will plan with participants which herbs to grow, when to harvest them, and when to create new products from them. This bundle ensures that you won't miss a single opportunity to learn from this incredible gardener. Students should wear warm clothes appropriate for planting. $5 drop in fee available.
