Skating Lesson Registration
The summer PB Learn to Skate program is an excellent opportunity for children to continue their progress prior to the Fall season.
- Thursday Lessons w/report card will be after lesson on June 24.
- Saturday Lessons w/report card will be after lesson on June 26.
For all participants currently not in skating lessons, registration will take place in person only at 5:30pm Monday June 28 at the Sunset Rink or Community Centre.
For those who are registering for Level 2 or above, please make sure you bring the current report card or assessment letter.
Assessments for summer lesson registration must be completed before registration day. Assessments are available on Thursdays 3:00-4:15pm or Saturdays 1:30-2:45pm until June 26.
For your Information
- Cheques accepted for Association programs only. N.S.F. cheques will be assessed a $20 fee.
- NOTE: 7 days notice required for refunds of weekly programs.
- Please see below for full Refund Policies.
- Registration is required for most programs as they need a minimum enrolment to run.
- Programs that do not reach the minimum may be cancelled prior to the first class.
- When you register for a program, you automatically become a member.
- Please verify course dates, times, prices and location on your registration receipt.
- Receipts maybe picked-up anytime during office hours.
- Registrations are non-transferrable.
- You may register for yourself and one other family.
Leisure Access Services
Leisure Access: discounts may be available individuals and families
with a low income. Call us at 604-718-6505 for more information.
Special Needs Recreation for Disabled
Persons: Volunteer support may be available should
you or a family member require support to participate in any
of our programs. Before registering please call the Integration
Program Assistant at 604-718-5853 for further information.
Refund Policies
Association Refund Policy
Refund requests must be submitted within 24 hours of the completion of the 2nd scheduled class. No other refund requests will be considered without a doctor’s note. All refunds will be pro-rated with an administration fee of $5 applied to each program refund except for medical reasons (doctor’s note required). Refunds will be pro-rated if submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the start of the scheduled class. Some programs require a specific period of notice, so please note this policy does not apply to Sunset Preschool, Out Of School Care, Birthday Party, Personal Training and Daycamp programs. Refunds will be returned by method of payment, with the exception of cash. Cash refunds will be returned by cheque or debit. Full or prorated refunds will be issued for any programs cancelled by the Centre (no administration fee applied).
Park Board Skating Lesson Refund Policy -Swimming and Skating
A full refund will be given when the request is received more
than 48 hours before the first session. Refund requests
within 48 hours but before the first session will be assessed
a $10 administration fee. Refund requests received after the
program has started will be assessed a $10 administration
fee and will be prorated based on the sessions remaining.
Refunds for medical reasons (doctor note required) will not
be charged the Administration Fee.
