Chair Yoga (SEP-OCT)

Yoga adapted to the chair offers all the benefits of traditional yoga on a mat: improved balance and flexibility, reduced stress, and a more focused mind. In this class, participants will be introduced to asanas (poses) adapted to meet their individual needs. Though breathing exercise, dynamic yoga asanas, stretches, and meditation, we will improve our overall well-being and body awareness. Participants at all yoga exercise levels are welcome. Cindy began taking yoga classes over 16 years ago. With 16 years of yoga practice, Cindy completed her 250-hour Therapeutic Yoga Teacher Training from Langara Community College. She hopes to share the many benefits of yoga and help her students strengthen their bodies and calm their minds with the goal of clarity and peace. Drop in $8.
